SBA Express Loans

SBA Express financing can help qualified businesses pursue working capital, equipment, expansion, acquisition, and other eligible business needs through a streamlined 7(a) delivery method.

ITM Enterprise is not the U.S. Small Business Administration or a lender. Program availability, eligibility, terms, and approval are determined by participating lenders and applicable SBA requirements.

What Is SBA Express?

SBA Express is an SBA 7(a) delivery method designed to give participating lenders greater authority over credit decisions and servicing. The maximum SBA Express loan amount is $500,000, and the SBA guaranty is generally limited to 50%. “Express” describes the SBA delivery process. It does not guarantee approval, funding, or a specific closing date.

Common Uses

  • Working capital and operating needs
  • Equipment, furniture, fixtures, and eligible technology
  • Business expansion or tenant improvements
  • Inventory and approved business expenses
  • Qualified business acquisitions or ownership transitions

Who May Be a Strong Candidate?

A lender may look for an operating business with responsible management, a clear use of funds, sufficient cash flow to support repayment, acceptable business and personal credit, and complete financial documentation. Collateral requirements and equity expectations vary by lender and transaction.

SBA Express vs. 7(a) Small

SBA Express supports requests up to $500,000 under its distinct delivery method. The official 7(a) Small product supports non-revolving term loans up to $350,000 and follows different SBA underwriting and guaranty rules. The best fit depends on the use of proceeds, requested amount, lender policy, borrower profile, and transaction structure.
